Le 27 novembre dernier s'est tenu le 4e Dancehall Queen Contest Allemand.
Cette edition 2010 aura réuni pas moins de 10 concurrentes au titre de Dancehall Queen.

Ayant trouvé un article très correctement rédigé par une dénommé Ursula Münch et pensant qu'rn 2011 tout le monde doit comprendre l'anglais surtout sur un forum de dancehall qui traite a 99% de dancehall (je ne préciserait pas jamaiquain car c'est un pléonasme) je vous fourni ici un copier coller de cet article en V.O :

"11 contestants, 6 rounds, but only one National Dancehall Queen 2010!To find out who wears the crown for the next twelve months Germany’s best dancers gathered in the capital Berlin on November 27th.Yaam was the place to be that Saturday night for all those who just love to skip, sweep, bounce and wine, invited by United Queendom promotions.

At 1am the hosts, me and my charming colleague, the singer Ranking Smo took over the microphone to start the hottest competition of the year.After introducing the night’s sounds, Nexus from the Passa Passa crew Europe and Berlin’s finest Supersonic and City Lock, all eyes were on the jury.The dancehall queens Kim La Queen from Germany and Afro from Poland got to watch, evaluate and review each dancer and her show – a tough job for sure.Luckily they got support by three next judges: MC Tete Goldfinger from City Lock representing for the soundboys, selecta Nexus and the journalist Anne Kummerlöwe.

A lot of people to mention and yet the most important persons of the night haven’t even been introduced yet. Therefor every girl had 60 seconds each in the very first round. In random chosen order Diva Rebel, Miss Venergy, Queen Eve, Kelly, Lavender, Miss Fine, Pinky, Latina, Tamica, Maggi und Holly entered the stage one after another to present herself with her own mix and choreography. Although none of the contestants had to leave the competition after the first rounds, the jury already had to work hard watching choreography, music, creativity and costumes. The ratings of the first round were later added to those from the second round for the first elimination.In any aspect the girls showed a lot of creativity: while Tamica flew in with her angel wings in typical red gold and green, Holly was the cave woman from the stone age and spanish-argentinian Latina represented to Elephant Man’s „Wave your flag“ in a red and yellow outfit.

During a short musical break with Supersonic, dancehall queen Afro proofed her expertise with a versatile performance. In 2009 she placed second at the international contest in Montego Bay, that night the Berlin massive had the pleasure to see why.

The following second round was next including the first elimination. All 11 girls did their best again to make sure not to leave the competition. Lavender and Maggi set the trend with sexy military outfits, titleholder Pinky impressed with her headtop on a chair and Miss Fine represented for Heckert Empire with a Ronny Trettman dubplate. Still the three girls with the least points given by the jury in the first two rounds had to leave and those were Kelly, Holly and Latina.

During the next change of clothes and the resulting musical break, the Badda Gyalore crew took over the stage for a group performance with a mix of dancehall, hip hop and UK funky music and both acrobatics and latest dance moves.

The third round was titled the Dancing Round offering a variety of typical dancing tunes such as Voicemail’s „Nuh behaviour“ or RDX „Movements“.All left contestants randomly chose on of the songs and the jury focused on rating the right dancing moves and the spontaneity.While pink seemed to be the color for the round, Maggi made her mark with her colourful neon dress and sun glasses and Miss Venergy presented a body exclusive tailored for her by a friend. After all this skipping, sweeping and jus’ bussing again three girls had to go home. Pinky and Queen Eve left first, followed by Tamica who lost the impromptu ‚sudden death match’ as she and Diva Rebel had the same amount of points.

To prove again spontaneity but also their sexy skills, the girls had to randomly chose a song again in the fourth round following the slogan „Wine“.Well prepared all contestants entered the stage in hot dresses and high heels to perform to Machel Montano’s „Wine“ or Vybz Kartel’s „Slow motion“.With her breathtaking headtop wine and the mysterious golden glitter dress, Maggi once again got the best jury review, while Miss Venergy and Diva Rebel had to leave.

Although only three girls were still competing, there was one next round to go before the final one on one battle.During the „Surprise Round“ that both the massive and the dancers didn’t know before, each girl got to chose from four available items to perform with to an unknown song. While Miss Fine equipped herself with the bucket showing the wickedest headtop of the night to Ronny Trettmann’s „Schütt’n Eimer Wasser drüber“, Maggi was next with her skipping rope to „Skip to my lou“. Khago’s „Fresh and clean“ was the last to perform to as Lavender chose the broom to accesorize. After a sticky jury statement Miss Fine was out of the competition still winning second runner-up.

Jury member Kim La Queen was the last to sweeten the musical break with her dancing performance inviting all dancers to join her on stage and dance together, before the two last contestants Lavender and Maggi shared the stage in a hot one on one final.Both girls definitely proved why they reached that far with headtops, splits, wining and streetdance moves – but by the end of the night there was only one crown.With her continuous good performances, hot dresses and a lot of creativity Maggi convinced the jury and won well-deserved. Lavender was a great runner-up earning the title of „Heckert Empire Dancehall Princess 2010“.

Alors j'ai pu voir ce week end Maggi, et M.S Fine ( que je connaissais déjà ).

Elle a je crois mérité son titre même si elle n'était pas là pour montrer tout ce dont elle était capable...

Pour ce qui est de Miss Venergy, je crois que Scaro pourra nous faire un petit résumé de ce qu'il a pu percevoir dernièrement de Miss Venergy...d'ailleurs ça me fait penser...Scaro est un Maniac ou pas ? ^^...
